Working together with BackedVC, we had identified an early automation opportunity to streamline startup outreach. Target companies and individuals are extracted from Crunchbase or Specter, enriched, and added to an outreach campaign for David Linsey.

The Solution

Automation Inputs

The automation can be triggered by uploading an exported spreadsheet from Crunchbase or Specter to the Google Drive folder.

Input sources:

• Crunchbase Company Import
• Specter Company Import
• Specter Individual Import

To upload a file, simply download the relevant CSV export from your platform, and drop it in the import folder. The automation will begin.

Outreach Airtable

We have developed an Outreach Airtable sheet that can be used to manage your communications.

The sheet will be automatically populated with enriched contacts from your spreadsheet.

To begin outreach, you will need to:

1. Toggle “Yes” tag in the “Generate Message” column to begin outreach message generation. Once a message is generated, it will be populated in the “LinkedIn Invite”, “LinkedIn Main Message”, and “Email Message” columns.
   • This message can be modified by you before proceeding further.
